Above The Clouds is an urban emotional drama that was jointly presented by iQIYI, Royal Charter Movies & TV Production Group Co., Ltd., Huanyu Entertainment Co., Ltd., and Xingrui Film and TV Culture Media Co., Ltd. The film is co-directed by Li Wenlong, Wai Chu Lee, Wai Yan Tang, and Ka-Lam Chan. It stars Chen Xiao, Yuan Shanshan, Guo Xiaodong, Jiang Mengjie, Zhang Zhehan, Merxat, Cai Wenjing, and He Hongshan.

The drama tells the story of Jian Xi, an ordinary but inspirational star, and Tang Fei, a famous but arrogant superstar, as they both chase their dreams and look for love in the entertainment circle.

The drama has two seasons. The first season premiered on iQIYI on February 23, 2017. The second season aired on iQIYI on March 30, 2017. It was put in the Golden Theater of Shenzhen Satellite TV on May 2, 2017.
